There are a few different ways of doing this. 1 Have the solar energy heat water into steam that is stored in well insulated tanks that steam is then used to drive turbines to generate electricity when the sun do not shine. 2 Use the solar energy to heat metallic salts that are stored in well insulated containers and used in times of low sunlight to heat water. 3 Have electricity generated by the solar energy lift heavy weights up, then when the sun do not shine these weights travels down and then generates new electricity. 4 Have sunlight heat water in a indoor pool during the day and then use the heated water to heat your house during the night. 5 Store the electricity in batteries for use later on There are many other ways as well, but non of these are very effective yet and this is an area that engineers work on all over the world right now
While charging the battery we use the electrical energy which is stored as chemical energy in the battery.

it is the energy stored in batteries
Solar cells have stored solar energy that is converted into electrical energy.
Solar energy can be stored for later use through the use of batteries. When the sun is shining and solar panels are producing more energy than is needed, the excess energy is stored in batteries. These batteries can then be used to power homes or buildings when the sun is not shining or during the night.
solar energy or sun energy
Solar energy is used. That energy is stored in glucose
inside solar pannelsif that is used otherwise it is in the sun
Solar energy, whether heat or light, is not stored energy. It is radiant energy. It needs to be converted in order to store it. Plants produce glucose, which stores it as chemical energy. Solar heat installations usually store it as heat in a fluid. Solar electric installations produce current electricity, which can be stored in various ways including batteries and pumped water storage.
Solar energy is stored in solar panels as direct current (DC) electricity through the photovoltaic effect. This energy can then be stored in batteries or converted to alternating current (AC) electricity for immediate use or to be fed into the grid. When energy is needed, it is released by converting stored electricity back to AC for use in electrical appliances or by using the energy stored in batteries.
Solar energy can be stored through technologies such as batteries, pumped hydro storage, thermal energy storage, and hydrogen production through electrolysis. These methods allow the captured solar energy to be used during times of low sunlight or high energy demand.
solar energy → potential energy stored in electrons and ATP → chemical energy stored in sugars
