Chlamydia has symptoms in men which include (from related link):

a white/cloudy and watery discharge from the penis that may stain underwear;

a burning sensation and/or pain when passing urine;

pain and swelling in the testicles.

Men are more likely to notice chlamydia symptoms than women, though they may be asymptomatic (no symptoms).

Chlamydia infection in men may develop in the urethra, epididymis and/or the prostate. Approximately 50% of infected men do not have any symptoms.

If you are female, there is large chance that if you have chlamydia you will have no symptoms at all. This is why it is important to have regular STD checks with your doctor.

If you are male, chlamydia (which is a bacterial infection, so can be treated with a tablet) usually shows up 2 weeks or so after having sex.

Chlamydia is sometimes confused with urinary tract infections in males, as it has the same stinging ("pissing razor blades") sensation and the frequent urge to urinate.

Yes, men can contract Chlamydia.

People get chlamydia by having sex with someone who has the infection. "Having sex" means anal, vaginal, or oral sex. Chlamydia can still be transmitted even if a man does not ejaculate. People who have had chlamydia and have been treated can get infected again if they have sex with an infected person.

Some infected men have discharge from their penis or a burning sensation when urinating. Pain and swelling in one or both testicles (known as "epididymitis") may also occur, but is less common. Half of men with chlamydia have no symptoms at all.

Chlamydia can also infect the rectum in men and women, either through receptive anal sex, or possibly via spread from the cervix and vagina. While these infections often cause no symptoms, they can cause rectal pain, discharge, and/or bleeding (known as "proctitis").

Half of men will have no symptoms, but if a man has symptoms, they may show up as soon as one to three weeks after infection.
