I just paid $500 for one in "well used condition" and was glad to get it. Is it "worth it"? Depends on one's point of view. A .35 Remington can be handloaded to match the .375's ballistics and there is a better assortment of bullets available in .358" than in .375" but a hunter only needs the 220 grain Hornady or the 200 grain Sierra .375's. I wanted the biggest bore that would give a point blank range of 200 yards without kicking my teeth loose and the .375 Winchester seemed the best compromise for me.
