well... i´ve heard a tale about one of them... he could jump as much backwards that he could do forwards, in battle, whatever he wanted to hit, he hit it, and with whatever weapon he had, so i guess they where both clever and strong.

Depends.

Vikings did lots of different things, sometimes during the same journey. They'd trade, rob, or look for land to settle.

Those who were out to rob and loot would have been very aggressive - can't be a wimpy pirate - while those out to trade or settle would have been quite easy-going.
