French missionary efforts were fairly successful among the Huron Native Tribes. This was in sharp contrast to the Iroquois Confederation, were hostile to these efforts. I am not sure you can say she was "successful ". She was a Native American woman with a baby married to a French trapper and she helped Lewis and Clark.
