∙ 9y agoAs is the only dwarf from The Hobbit to personally show up in The Lord of the Rings, Gloin is estimated on one fan site as being 4.5 to 5.5 feet tall. Gloin's father, from Dwarf of the House of Durin, was Gróin but his mother is unknown. JJR Tolkien wrote both The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
