Sure they do. Just put on in a cup of dirt...around 20 ml of water daily and in less than a week you'll have a little sprout. Transfer to self watering conainer and put in full sun. The beans dry on the plant so if you live in a humid area of the country you may want to grow them inside using an earthbox or something similar. Climate control ROCKS!

it is a white fluffy ball. You can find it in most medicine bottles. Cotton is soft fiber material. The plant has broad leaves with about 5 points. The plant has one main stalk with branches off of it. The plant requires a long time, about 5 monts, for it to mature and produce cotton. The plant is only ONE of two plants in the world that has a flower that changes color from pink to white. The height of the plant can vary from 2 feet to 6 feet depending on the variety. (Plants were developed to grow tall but then they realized that a shorter plant would produce cotton quicker.) The fruit of the plant is a bowl which begins to develope the cotton inside it. At the first frost (or when defloiate is applied), the plant dies and the bowl begins to dry up. This causes it to split open in 5 segments (like segments of an orange) and exposes the cotton for pickers to harvest. Inside the fluffy cotton are seeds that are used to grow the next crop.
independent variables are the ones you change (how much watter to give the plant) dependent variables are the result (how tall the plant is) constant variables are ones that don't change (the type of plant)
