The Trinity consists of the Father(God), the Son(Jesus Christ), & the Holy Spirit.All three make up one Godhead.If you are saved, Jesus Christ lives in your heart, God answers your prayers and the Holy Spirit convicts you much like your conscience, but with much more power.When you, a child of God, submit to God and ask for His power to guide you and help you, realizing you can't help yourself on your own, He sends the Holy Spirit into your soul to help and comfort you in your time of need; the more Spirit-filled you are, the more power you have to overcome weakness, temptation and struggles, and if you are already living in unconfessed sin, God will convict you with the Holy Spirit.

The Human Spirit is that spirit that enters the body of an unborn child just before it is born. It is said that when the child first moves in the womb that is when the spirit enters the child. That same spirit will leave the body at death and return to that home from where first came to await the resurrection, when it will be reunited with that same body. The body and spirit having fulfilled its purpose here on earth. Human spirit is inspired soul. When a child is born, the body is devoid of soul and spirit. However, the child is born with God's gift of ability to think, feel and act. With the Holy Spirit residing in the body, the child begins to fill its own soul and later, its spirit out of the soul.

I do believe the Holy Spirit dwells in my spirit (wherever that is). Man's spirit is that part of me that relates to worship and divine communion with God. It could be that empty space in each man that God wants to fill with Himself.
