The first thing when making a bow and arrow is to get the perfect piece of wood for the bow. The wood must be dry and dead. The best types of wood for a bow include oak, hickory, and teak. Once the wood is found, decide its natural curve. Next is to shape the wood. Take a knife and start to shave off small pieces of wood inside the curve.
