Well, If I were going to build a house there, I would build it right on top of a natural well. I would have the roof covered in solar panels. In the desert in any given day, you could easily generate enough solar power to power your A/C unit and many other electronics. You could have different panels linked to different objects. Like 1 panel for your PC and refrigerator. That is what I would do. Sorry for the long answer, but I actually want to do this. I want to make a glass pyramid in the desert.
