Use that to relieve the pressure. If there is none then remove the fuel cap and relieve any pressure there. Then wrap the connection at the filter with a rag and prepare for a spray of fuel when you break the connection. i recommend safety googles just in case. If you use care and cover the connection with the rag you will be ok. Only a small about of fuel will escape in the spray.
