Their innate behaviour or Survival Instinctm is to avoid water. Only specifically adapted water spiders dare to live near it. They may also avoid it as venomous creatures are often colourful.
Wolf spiders are not as dangerous as you think. Even though a wolf spider's bite is poisonous, the venom is not lethal. Wolf spiders aren't know to be aggressive, but they will bite if thy feel threatened or in danger. However, if you are bitten by a wolf spider, you should still see a doctor immediately. You should also, instead of a bandage, use an ice pack on the bitten area until the swelling goes down. If necessary, try to avoid any movement at all were the bitten area is. And another important thing is to also call an exterminator to make sure you don't see any of those little guys again!
Spiders will eat grubworms but will avoid earthworms ( i tried to feed them earthworms once but they seemed not to be interested in them at all.)
You don't feel leeches; sharks are another matter entirely. I would advise that you avoid getting bitten by a shark. If a shark bites you, you will notice it. If you don't notice the fact that you have been bitten by a shark you have much more serious problems than just a shark bite.
Probably. As long as Thing can avoid being bitten or impaled by its long tail.
To avoid getting arrested do not commit any crimes.
Short answer; yes. Wolf spiders cover several hundred species and some people refer to any brown hunting (as opposed to web-weaving) spiders as wolf spiders. I hope you're not planning to move to avoid these spiders though, they're pretty harmless.
