1. apply the parking brake, block rear wheels, jack up front end and place on jack stands2. disconect negative battery cable3.detatch air duct from bumper cover (ac models)4.remove side markers and headlamp assemblies5.remove bumper cover nuts, bolts, and clips6.disconect any electrical connectors that would interfere7.remove the rivets and retainers and pull the absorber and bumper assemblies

There is a difference. The 1992 front bumper has a more rounded look than the 1991 model but it should fit. Not 100% sure about that but I suspect they should both bolt on the same.

The horn on the 92 Firebird is located behind the front bumper. The horn button is located on the steering wheel. Pictures can be found in a Firebird repair manual.
I bought a 89 240sx from my buddy, he had a 92 parts car and i replaced both fenders and the front bumper on the 89 with the 91 parts. In order for the bumper to fit you have to replace the inner 89 bumper with the 91.
Well, i just tried this today, me my bumper was from a 94 Si (coupe) onto a 92 LX, it does not fit exacely, but then again maybe you can get it to fit better then i did ,i had to screw it into place, do a fitment test first

it all depends on the parts,for example the body is the same 92 to 98,but they changed the front and rear clip.(front fenders,head lights,bumper and hood,rear tail lights,bumper and trunk lid)they pnly put the 3300 motor in the 92 and 93,3100 motor from 94 up.i just put a motor from a 94 in to my 97 and i also put the carpet.the brakes and all that are the same.
