?What year? I have a 1990 DeVille and there are only two (2) bolts on the backside of the caliper (I think 13mm?) It is sometimes difficult to remove. Be patient in removing them, you don't want to break them---speaking from expirence!!
The rear brake pads on your 1993 Ford Escort can be changed by removing the brake pad Springs and break caliper. The brake pads will come off. Reverse the process to install the new brake pads.
remove caliper. may be chrome cap on top bolt you have to remove to get to the 8mill bolt. slide off caliper and press in piston. change pads and reinstall
I was wonder if I'm missing something I'm chaging my front brake pads on my STS 1998 Cadillac and I took the bolts out but I can't remove the capiler?
