How to clone Pokemon in emerald?

1. go to the battle tower.

2. go to the PC

3. log on and go to move Pokemon

4. put all but one Pokemon in an empty box

5. get out of the PC ad save

6. log back on and remove the Pokemon

7. get off the PC

8. go to the multi link battle tower challenge person (the closest)

9. accept the challenge and as you save turn off the power

10. turn the power back on and save

OR

1. go to the Pokemon breeder (the place tht levels up Pokemon)

2. Place a ditto in the daycare.

3. Place the Pokemon you want to clone in the daycare (does not work on non-genders)

4. wait for an egg.

5.hatch the egg and you will get an lvl 1 clone.

This is a quicker way:

1. go to the battle tower (at the Battle Frontier)

2. go to the PC

3. log on to the PC

4. go to deposit Pokemon (move Pokemon also works)

5. deposit TWO Pokemon in ONE box

6. exit the PC and save

7. log on to the PC

8. go to withdraw Pokemon (I'm not sure if move Pokemon works)

9. withdraw BOTH Pokemon

10. walk to the Link-Multi battle lady

11. talk to her

12. choose either level*

13. choose the two Pokemon**

14. She will ask if your progress may be saved. say yes

15. DO NOT turn off the game when there is a pause

16. when she says "Would you like to save the game?" say yes

17. during the next step, when she says "There is already a saved file." turn off the game (I do not know if the game restart works for this step)

18. turn back on the game

19. you will be standing in front of the lady -- if not, this was done incorrectly

20. go to the PC

21. log on and you will see that the Pokemon that you cloned are in the PC box and your party***

*at least one of your Pokemon must be able to participate

**you only need to choose one Pokemon; the other can be any Pokemon in your party

***the cloned Pokemon will be identical in any way

NOTE: this is a glitch, not a cheat. this means that it is legal and the Pokemon received are legal as well
