youll most likely have to replace the whole radio. from what ive been told it would cost the same or more just for the faceplate alone.
the radio has a cd player slot.
No thanks
You cannot enter the radio code on a 2005 KIA Sportage if the screen is blank. You have to fix the screen. How do you fix the screen?
Look in owners manual
anytime the radio loses power the code given to you at time of purchase will need to be entered to restore the radio. Or it could also be the alarm system. I had the same problem. I had to buy a new radio (CD player) worked perfect afterwards.
First the?æconnectors underneath the dash have to be disconnected. Once this is done then pull straight out on the radio and it will come out.
Remove the trim plate from the shifter. Remove the instrument/radio trim plate. Remove the right side console extension panel. Remove the heater duct. Reach behind the radio and remove the antenna lead. Remove the radio retaining screws. Pull the radio out and disconnect the electrical connectors. To install the CD player you will to buy an installation kit for a'89 Grand Am (it will have all the parts to mount the CD player and instructions how to install it)
Yes it does just below the radio center panel .
Radio codes are specific to each radio. The code is on a small card and is sometimes found in the glove compartment. To get the code without the card you have to get the serial number of the radio and call the dealer.
The speaker wire color on a 99 Kia Sportage are red, yellow, and black. Each provides power to the speaker and sends a signal back to the radio.
You can't. You must find out what the code is. Contact a Kia dealer. You may have to remove the radio in order to get the serial # off the radio. With that serial # the dealer can provide the code.
