All systems have a graphics card. If one isn't in the slot to put one in, then you'd be using the one already built into the motherboard which aren't very good. Without a graphics card, your computer won't show anything.
Step 1. Find out what graphics card you have.
The computer can be used to find the MB of the graphics card. The graphic card is usually mounted on the graphics card reader. The MB of the graphic card can be read by looking at the drive of the graphics card.
Go to start > run > and type "dxdiag" and hit enter. A small list of your system specifications will show up. Video Display will tell you your graphics card.
If graphics are not showing up on the screen.
To lower your graphics go to setting or option, and find video. Then you should be able to find Graphics. Then turn that down. Or lower your graphics card.
If you have an onboard graphics card it wont have it..so you find it on normal graphics card that are not on the motherboard..any graphics card can support vertex shader so buy one
There are a wide variety of different places where one can purchase a GTX690 Graphics card. The best place to find the graphics card is at a local electronics store such as Best Buy.
Insert your graphics card driver CD or download the driver from the grapics card's manufacture website. GPU is Graphics Processor Unit. You can also run devmgmt.msc and find the the graphics card on it, right-click it, click properties, and reinstall driver, or rollback driver. and last you can use system recovery through your Operating system CD or DVD from boot, or through the system restore.

You just have to find out if its a PCI, AGP or PCI-E slot graphics card, go to the store, buy one that matches your slot type. If your graphics card is intergrated you can download a program called Everest home edition and find out what slot it is.
A processor of a computer does not interfere or limit to which kind of graphics card you can add. To find out which kinds of graphics card you can add, you need to open up your computer and find a x16 pci express slot. To find the slot you have to look around your motherboard to find a spot where it says x16 pc-express slot. If you have this slot, you should be able to add a graphics card. P.S. Goto the Start button at the bottom left. Click on it Click on the Control Panel on the right in the list that appears next Click on the icon that is named System next Click on the Hardware tab find the Graphics card and click on that and you will see the name of the card.
