Because Nintendo want to make it so you HAVE to buy the other Pokemon games, to trade them over so that you can actually "complete" the pokedex, it's just a scam so they can get more money, it's best to just get a cheat device & get them that way. probably also best to get a warp code to find the event Pokemon too since they rip you off there if you can't get to a wonder event (in real life) or find anyone who wants to trade you the event Pokemon (even though I'm pretty sure I'd feel stupid asking random people to trade Pokemon)
