You can use the built-in speakers to project the center channel of a 5.1 or 7.1 surround system, but you will find much better sound using an external center channel speaker above or below the middle of the screen. The digital output of a modern LG plasma screen can be sent to a surround sound receiver, but you must listening to a surround sound source, either a digital TV channel using the built-in tuner, a digital cable or satellite receiver or a DVD or Blu-Ray player.
Usually this is a sync problem when viewing the screen with sound through a surround receiver. See if your receiver has a lip sync feature to compensate for the delayed audio.

Give it to me I'll take a free Plasma TV. you can come and fetch it, its a 42" size and the sound works but no picture
black and white > color > plasma > high definition etc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ that is compltely correct. Exept, there is one more phase to add. The phase of no sound. that is before black and white. (basicly, the radio) or, (strictly the TV) with the black and white. So, the phases mostlikley should look like this... no sound - black and white-sound - color - plasma - high def ps. (plasma tv does not really contain plasma- a stage in matter)
The instrument that converts electrical energy to sound or image signals in a radio or television is called a speaker for sound signals and a screen or monitor for image signals. These devices receive electrical signals and convert them into audible sound waves or visual images for the viewer.
You can find reviews for a Samsung 50" tv on the following website: http://www.plasmatvbuyingguide.com/50-plasma-tv.html. They have a lot of information.
Most people like LCD better because it has better graphics and sound.
In order to create a wireless home cinema, you will need proper audio and visual equipment. For the visual component, you will need a large screen TV. You can use a flat panel LCD or plasma TV. You will also good sound to create the surround sound effect you get in a movie theater. You will need an AV receiver, loudspeakers, and a sub-woofer.
Television is the correct spelling. It is also known as a TV and it receives television signals of images and sound, then reproduces them on a screen.
