You have to have a very clean litter box in a quiet, secluded area. Show the cat the box by gently placing him or her in it, especially after eating.
Do not keep the litter box near the food and water.

How odd. Most people want to train their cats to use the litter tray, not to train them to stop using it. If you don't want your cat to use the litter tray, that's easy; remove the tray. If the tray is not there, the cat cannot use it. Move the litter tray outdoors to get your cat used to going outside and then, eventually, remove the litter tray completely.

To train your cat to cover its poop in the litter box, gently place your cat in the litter box after it has finished using it. Use your hand to mimic the covering motion by gently scooping some litter over the waste. Repeat this process consistently until your cat learns to cover its poop on its own. Positive reinforcement, such as treats or praise, can also help reinforce this behavior.
If you have only one cat, the Litter Maid is an excellent solution as it will automatically scoop your cat's litter for you and sift it into a receptacle. If you have more than one, the Litter Maid has trouble keeping up and traditional cat boxes may be a better solution. There are also ways to train your cat to use the toilet but it requires much patience and a willing cat.
To effectively toilet train your cat and prevent them from pooping on the floor, consider using a litter box with the right type of litter, placing the box in a quiet and accessible location, and providing positive reinforcement when your cat uses the box. Gradually transition your cat to using the litter box by monitoring their behavior and adjusting as needed. Consistency and patience are key in successfully toilet training your cat.
To train your cat to cover their poop in the litter box, gently place their paw on top of the poop and show them how to cover it with litter. To train an older cat to use a litter box effectively, place the box in a quiet, accessible location and keep it clean. Use a litter that your cat prefers and consider adding a second box. Provide positive reinforcement when your cat uses the box and be patient during the training process. If issues persist, consult with a veterinarian to rule out any medical problems.
We trained our cat by carrying it towards the litterbox and making its paws scrape up and down the litter.
To effectively train your cat to use a cat litter toilet trainer, start by gradually introducing the trainer to your cat and rewarding them with treats for using it. Gradually move the trainer closer to the toilet over time until your cat is comfortable using it on the toilet. Be patient and consistent with the training process to help your cat successfully transition to using the toilet.
