A diesel puts out Black smoke when it is running Too Rich. Blue means Burning Oil, white is a Coolant leak (Blown head gasket).
Black actually means it's wasting Fuel.
you can use chips, power mods, and smoke switches.
How to make the timing Mark
In a diesel engine, blue smoke is an indication of oil being burned. Black smoke means that there is incomplete combustion of the fuel. White smoke can be seen when raw diesel fuel is not being burned.
Black smoke, from any diesel, is the result of partially burned fuel. Overfueling will cause black smoke.
to make a diesel blow black smoke is usually done by turning up the fuel pump.all this accomplishes is to much fuel and the black smoke created is mostly un burnt fuel that is being wasted
a dirty air filter or a dirty fuel filter will cause a diesel to smoke
You changed clutch on 206 1.9 diesel and now you have smoke
Hi there, blue smoke on a diesel motor is normally fuel, and the smell will be unburn diesel, rough start and heavy smoke that will disapear as the engine getshot.
yes...the lack of air would causes excessive fuel which would cause black smoke.
Black smoke is just unburnt fuel in a diesel if the vehicle is not modified in any way to make this happen then something is causing it to not burn it all, it will not harm it but you should figure out why its not burning all of its fuel. (most diesels will spit out a little black smoke)
its a diesel, you will see black smoke alot.
with diesel at nearly $4.00 a gallon why would you want to. In most states you can be cited for excessive smoke.
