You remove the axle nuts and a ball joint to remove the CV axles. Then you remove the shifter linkage. Remove the starter and all the other stuff that's hooked to the tranny. Then you place a jack under the engine. Remove all the bolts holding the tranny and the engine together. Now unhook a couple motor mounts, raise the car up, drop the engine down and slide the tranny out.
You do not have to remove the motor to take the engine out. You simply need to take all the bolts out of the tranny that are going into the motor and then remove it from the motor with the motor in the car.
The automatic transmission will have a dip stick location on a 1982 Honda Civic. Pull the dip stick to see the color and texture of the fluid.

The speed sensor is found on the transmission of the 1992 Honda Civic. To replace the unit locate the mounting bolts and remove them. Unplug the wiring clip and pull the sensor off.
IF its the headlight on the drivers side, you have to pull the power steering fluid reservoir to get to it. Just pull it straight up. It'll come off.
You pop the hood take and reach behind the headlight and pull off the bulb cover then pull the bulb out and put the new one in.
If you secure the civic to the dolly correctly then definitely.
The dashboard on a 1991 Honda Civic is held on by several screws. Loosen and remove all of the screws. Then proceed to pull the dash out.

Place car on level ground. Leave running and put in park. Left side of car is where a yellow dipstick is located. That is for your transmission. Pull out well running. Wipe down and put back in. Pull it out and if it is in between the lines your good. If not add.
