The sun roof will have (4) plastic clips, (1) in each corner. simply lift the sun panel into place and turn the locking mechanisms. Note...there was a factory recall on the adhesive that held these "clips" to the sun roof. Obviously, if they are not there...you won't be able to install the sun panel. Check with your local dealer.

I'm not sure about a 2000 model. but I just put a 2.8 liter turbo diesel in my 1989 amigo with very little fabrication. Alll I had to do was reroute a few hoses and build an exhaust system. The Isuzu turbo diesl 3.1 liter out of the Isuzu bighorn is most likely to fit in a 2000 model. I know people have done it before.

I have an 98 amigo,First take out at least the side windows or you'll rip them.Then on the inside of the passanger compartment tward the back on the solid side of the roof there are 2 clamps,push the button and pull the lever down.Push the top back.You should latch it down so it won't pop up on a good bump.Good Travels.
