To remember the words that you used to study, you can make up a song that lists the words. This works well for word lists.
Remember the key words in whatever you need to study for like say it's a vocabulary quiz, then if you remeber key words, most of the time they are in the question somewhere or remember lttle riddles to go with the phrase that you are studying for, it always helps with me :)
