with the ignition on, but not the engine. press the switch that rises it up and the clips come off the back. then you unclip the front ones and push it out
The lux model had it as standard, the turbo didnt have it as it reduced chassis stiffness too much. So Porsche say.
on early 944s - motor mounts, rear hatch power release, expensive timing belt replacement costs (essential), hard to find a clock that works, sunroof motor gear, and no cup holders

the switch.? shift in 1st gear and look in front of your hand on the shifter console. or the actual switch is behind the middle modesty cover on the inside sunroof
Front or rear bumper? if its the front, all the lamps have to come out then remove the bolts from underneath.
