First unplug the main wiring harness for the tail lights, it located around the spare tire under the bed. then take the screws out of the gas spout behind your gas door (three screws.)then remove the six bolts from the bed and remove the bed(it is the easiest way) takes two people. the fuel pump is located on the top of the tank. remove the collar from the keeper ring on the tank. pull the hanger assembly out and you are done.
p.s. there will be the main harness and ground strap for the pump when you remove the bed, disconnect both.
