Dictionary says púas de puercoespÃn. But my family says espinas de puercoespÃn because to us púas sounds like barbed wire (or barbs anyway). Espinas sounds like thorns. Quill as in quill pen would be plumas (feathers). Porcupines definitely don't have feathers.
