If the 94 is like my old 91 Taurus, the cup holder uses the very same "DIN" mounting as the radio.
That means a cheap pair of the Ford radio removal tools ($4-5 most auto parts, Target, Walmart, etc) will work to remove it the same as the radio.
In fact, the cup holders do not need to come out in order to remove/replace the radio.
