In this coursework I am going investigate whether conisborogh castle in an typical castle. we visited two castle which were sandal castle and conisborogh castle because we could then find out how typical the Conisborogh castle. On the whole of the project day we died some field work activity these two castles were because they where both built by earl Castles had some common features, but there was no such thing as a typical castle. They were built over different times by different people with different materials. it was a mote and bailey castle, later turned into a stone keep castle they had to refurbish the castle by putting the floors

The great hall at Goodrich Castle is very large with dimensions of 30 feet by 66 feet. The great hall was used for entertaining guests, meetings within the castle, and dining.
no it doesnt follow the development of other castles that were built at that time. it is vey unique and different.
From what I can gather, there are no records of Goodrich Castle being built. It is dated as late 11th or early 12th century, but we cannot know how long it took to build.

At Goodrich Castle, at least 100 to 150 people would have lived there, just to take care of the Lord's family. Estimates suggest that around 200 people lived in the castle at any given time.
