You can get online with your notebook or desktop computer at any time, using your phone’s data connection. This is called “tethering”.

You need to install HTC Sync before you can use your phone as a modem.
Make sure that your phone has an active data connection with the Sprint 1xRTT data network or the Sprint 3G network.

Anything that you can add to your SD card. Pictures, contacts, apps, videos, etc. Add all of that to your Hero's SD card, and then use that SD card in your Evo and everything will be there. I did this when i switched from the hero to the evo.

The HTC EVO 4G can is only available for the Sprint Network. So because you have the Verizon network you cannot use this phone. But as an alternative you may switch to a large variety of Android phones instead.

Verizon does not use sim cards up until recently near the end of 2008 i heard they will be accepting phones from different carriers to use on their network as long as the phone has been unlocked. I'm not sure when or if they will even go through with this, which would be nice but that is what i heard.. that is not true they will not take phones from other plans
The HTC Aria is alvailable only on AT&T, and not on Sprint. Also, you cannot unlock the Aria for use on Sprint's network because Sprint uses CDMA. So Aria is only being currently offered by AT&T.
