It depends ENTIRELY on where the polyester fibres are, really.
If the fibres all lumped around the hood (of a mummy style sleeping bag), then your head will be warm, but your feet...Possibly not so.
If it's evenly spread, you would remain relatively warmer than if you were to find yourself without the fibres.
