Crops in West Africa are grown similarly to elsewhere in the world. Some of the top crops are cashew nuts and cocoa beans.
South Africa population adapts to their environment. Human have changed South Africa's land though clearing fields for crops, building villages, and minding for oil.

The colonists brought with them plants, animals, and insects to North America. The introduction of these things changed the environment. Depending on their location they grew everything from tobacco to wheat.
The first economic change was the introduction of cash crops in Africa which led to decline of food crops. A political change was the introduction of administrative systems.

Because the Columbian Exchange brought disease to the Americas and killed most of the work force enslaved by the Europeans. They started using Africans. since there had been much contact between Europe and Africa disease wasn't really an issue. many tribes in Africa sold their countrymen into slavery for weapons and other status symbols. One of the good things to come out of it was the introduction of new cash crops to Africa. Because of the Columbian Exchange, Africa and the rest of the world has potatoes and corn as well as many other crops.
Introduced Africa to Christianity through Portuguese, A lot of weaponry were sent to Africa in exchange for slaves . As mentioned slavery increased specially in the Triangle of Trade ( weapons from Europe to Africa, slaves from Africa to America, Crops from America to Europe). After the discovery of Americas, Europeans wanted labor to farm and do the hard work for them when colonizing in America.

Well here's my thesis statement: The changes to the Atlantic World as a result of contacts from Europe, Africa and the Americas, though numerous, can primarily be divided into the categories social and economic changes. Specifically; the introduction of religion and a hierarchal structure dramatically and permanently altered the structure and social course in the Atlantic World. Further, the introduction of slaves, indentured servants, and foreign crops all sped the economic development and changes that existed.
