Jackson did not personally take any Indian land. He did persuade the Creeks after he defeated them in a war which they started, to cede some of their land to the US government. Why? Because he thought the government could make better use of it and to punish them for warring against the United States.
You are probably looking at the Green 1 cent Scott number 1209 or 1225 which were issued in 1962. They have minimal value and would cost you 15 cents used or mint from a dealer. A dealer probably wouldn't even consider buying one from you, you'd be better off using it for postage.
