War guilt clause
I can honestly say that guilt is one of the worst emotions a human can carry. Time can usually make your guilt fade away. Find someone trusting to talk to about your feelings. When I lie I feel guilty and I find someone i trust and talk it out. It ALWAYS makes me feel better. Always. <3
Definently Article 231, aka "The War Guilt Clause"
Germany had to accept they started the war
Guilt is determined in a court of law. Some people had the choice of serving in the German Army or being killed. Others took the law into their own hands and killed people on their own. The Nuremberg trials determined the last group guilty of "Crimes Against Humanity." Whether or not the people who helped the Nazis were guilty would depend on their type of involvement. The Nazi regime itself was both evil and guilty.___The word guilt is also widely used in a moral sense as well as a legal sense.
You can be factually guilty without being legally guilty. You may have actually committed the crime, but if it can't be proven in a court of law you aren't legally guilty.
Because the basis of most appeals is the claim that a lower Court has not applied the law properly.
The word "innocent" means the same as "not guilty". But nowhere apart from Scotland is anyone "found innocent". That is because in all common law systems, accused persons are presumed innocent unless proven to be guilty. If there is not enough proof that the person is guilty, he is found to be "not guilty" even though there is no proof of his innocence. The OJ Simpson case is a case in point. One court found that there was more evidence of his guilt than there was of his innocence, but another court found that there was not enough evidence of his guilt to find that he was proven guilty of the crime. He was therefore found not guilty although no court would find him innocent.
Factual guilt is when someone is guilty of an act, but not found guilty in court.Technical (procedural) guilt is when someone is guilt of an act and found guilty in court.
If they were tried and not proven guilty, then they can't be tried again for the same crime without the court being in violation of the bill of rights.

Guilt or innocence.
The standard of proof to establish guilt in a criminal case is beyond a reasonable doubt.
By the production of evidence, witnesses and testimony that will convince a jury of their guilt, beyond a reasonabledoubt.
Guilt ridden persons do not get capital punishment. Only people found guilty of capital crimes get capital punishment . . . . . . regardless of how guilt ridden they may profess to be, after-the-fact.
A jury will be given information from lawyers, evidence, and such and base the decision of guilt on the information provided. The jury is what determines guilt. If it goes to the Supreme Court than they decide on the legality of a case. If it's a small court case than a judge may pass guilt in which you can appeal for a trial by a jury.
'Crime and Punishment' [Doestoevsky] would be a good one
