This answer is pretty simple. Anne Frank did not live to see the Holocaust end because she died of typhus on April 1945. The camp was liberated in May 1945 so she could have lived to see it end. Anne Frank's life was greatly affected by war as she and her family went into hiding to escape persecution from the Nazis during World War II. They lived in cramped conditions in an annex for over two years, constantly living in fear of being discovered. Tragically, Anne and most of her family were ultimately captured and sent to concentration camps, where she died at a young age.
