Jesus was accused of blasphemy by Caiaphas the highest priest. Pilot was the man who said unto the people if this man should go. For it was the time of year when the people of the city let one prisoner go free. "We want Barabbas! Don't let Jesus go!" The townspeople would shout. Barabbas was a terrible man. He was known for robbing and murder. But the people wanted him more than they wanted Jesus. Jesus was taken up a hill and was crucified on a cross. Three days later, He rose again!
Jesus was put to death to die for our sins. If Jesus didn't go to the cross we as human beings would not be able to ask God for forgiveness for all our sins. But Jesus rose again. Hallaelujah Brother!
