The tomb of Tutankhamen was well protected as it was built under the tomb of Ramses II, another Egyptian Pharaoh. It was also intact for this reason.
Someone tried to rob tuts gold when he died. But they were cought and killed. It remaind untouched until England discovered it in 1922.
well it took 7 years to find his tomb so 7 years i guess hope that helps? :)
Well after the death of King Tut they found a new king and he ruled, that's pretty much what happens after every kings death. The real question that bugs me. WHAT HAPPEN TO KING TUTS PENIS!?!
When he was mummified and put in his tomb, dozens of spells were put on the mummy to protect him from the afterlife and any tomb robbers.
Well, before he became king it was spelled Tuthknaten. After he became king it was spelled Tutankhamun. (There are other slight variations to the spelling.)
Tomb was never robbed like other tombs
Well... sort of. Tutankhamun's tomb was significant because it hadn't already been robbed when it was found.
Nowhere. By Tut's day the dangers from tomb robbers were well known, and a pyramid would have been an invitation to them. The tomb is underground, in the Valley of the Kings.
King Tut or Tutankhamen died when he was a very young man, probably about 19 years old. Little is actually known about his personality except that he was well liked by his subjects.
King Tut is well known because his tomb, when it was found, had everything in it! Most Pharaoh's tombs were robbed, actually all tombs were robbed. King Tut's was not, that is why he is special!
well king tut was very famous he became a Pharaoh when he was only nine years old and then he ruled Egypt for ten years.
Mr. Howard Carter and he lived to be 66 he did not die of the curse. BUT GET THIS... 22 people died who was involved in King Tut himself's tomb. and 1 suicidal was involved in this event as long as a dog as well. do u think that is a curse or coincidence?
