As a "lay man"...The Earth, and it's core formed from the debris left over from the gases and accretion disk our Star (Sol) formed out of. The collisions of the rocky and metallic debris formd a globe (Earth) whose gravity attracted more and more material. Eventually the core compressed into what it is today. Planetary Scientists and Geologists freely admit to not having a good understanding of just how the core interacts with the Earth's mantle, but they have several good theories. They know the Earth's magnetic field, essential in protecting us from cosmic radiation, is generated by the core and the Earth's rotation; yet they don't fully understand how or why the magnetic field changes over time.
The core is 33% of the Earths mass
It is made by the movement of the earths core and magma field
earth core is made of an alloy of.... MOSTLY IRON AND NICKEL
hydrogen carbon and nitrogen
both of them
It is made by the movement of the earths core
The Inner (solid) and Outter (liquid) Core are made up of Nickel and Iron.
No it is liquid
core
basalt and granite
Earth's core
No. The Earth's core is divided into two parts: a solid inner core and a liquid outer core, moth made mostly of iron.
