John 15:26-16:15 tells the function of the Holy Spirit, He:
1. Reveals Christ
2. Bring conviction is regards to sin and righteousness
3. Lead us into all truth
4. Speak God's words to us
5. Make us able to know God.
The Bible, in various places, talks about him giving us the power to live Holy lives, and to be is witnesses. All of these functions of the Spirit were incredibly important to the early church, without he Holy Spirit the early church would have been a historical blip that never made it out of the 1st century. The Holy Spirit is just as important to us today, the church can not survive without the work of the Holy Spirit, in fact the bible is clear that apart from the work of the Holy Spirit not a single person would ever be able to come to Christ (John 6:44
The Christian Church (Christianity)
for me the foundation/s of Christian ethics, one is the Scripture, church, conviction and the Holy Spirit
it is formed throurgh the Holy Spirit and God. As a christian the Bishop started the only true christian church ever,

For me and as a Christian, Church is better where we can worship God with our pure heart and in Spirit and in Truth. As somone who isn't christian and thinks you shouldn't go about claiming your beliefs are 'true' while other peoples 'are not', I think that churchs and mosques are equally important. You can't classify one as 'better' than the other.
Being a Christian is - or should be - a way of life. Regularly visiting the church is just a small part of it. The most important part is everyday life and the way one treats the others. Evil thoughts and deeds are against the spirit of Christianity.
They received the Holy Spirit for the first time.
The Apostle's Creed is a collection of Christian doctrine. It contains the beliefs of Christian churches in the most basic form. Many would say that in order to be considered a true Christian Church that said church must hold the beliefs contained within the creed. The line "We believe in the Holy Spirit" means just that. The church saying the creed upholds the belief that the Holy Spirit is the third member of the Trinity and is something to be believed in just as Jesus is something to believe in.
Pentecost commemorates the day that the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles, prompting them to begin evangelizing. It is the birthday of the Church. Had Pentecost never occurred, there would be no Christian Church today.
Robert Morris has written: 'The blessed church' -- subject- s -: Church growth 'The God I never knew' -- subject- s -: Holy Spirit
