Of course. And it is also official US policy (ever since President George H.W. Bush signed the Americans with Disabilities Act) to make sure that people with disabilities receive the accommodation they need to work or to attend school. That does not mean that all barriers have been removed, but President Obama is supportive of hiring people with disabilities and has said so many times; he has also employed people with disabilities, and there is no reason he would not continue to do so.
