a tsunami can be created in a few ways because there are plates under the earth which move around in a circle but it can be created if one of them goes over another one which will cause an earthquake which will then create a tsunami and another way i do not know
Most tsunami result from vertical displacement along a fault located on the ocean floor OR from a large underwater landslide triggered by an earthquake.
