Japan was defeated. before the atom bomb's were droped. They knew it.We had an invasion force that,was certain to,to bring Victory. It was assembled on the west side of the Philippine's . The Atom Bomb's were used to save more lives,than the invasion force which,would have killed maney more people on both side's I was in the Phillipines,at the time; We flew over, the invasion fleet and I couldn't beleave my eyes;It was beyond beleaf,every thing you could think of was there. (read the ;BATTLE OF LEYTE GULF)
