Girls were taught to cook, clean, weave, dance, sing, and sometimes reading and writing by their mothers.

Boys went to school and learned, reading, writing, math, poetry, and music. THey were also expected to be involved in sports or athletic events.

Men usually went to work, woman stayed at home but didn't do chores-the slaves did instead unless it was a plebeian family. Children could go to school if they were from a wealthy family otherwise they would have played and do things children did, or them selves worked.
