Millions of people use it everyday and not just once a week or month every single day. It is a plant not a drug and has no longterm proven side effects. There are different highs some more enjoyable than other but none are scary or bad or make you lose conciousness you are just stoned.

What are the scientific names for hashish?

Hash is just simply THC (tetrahydro-cannabinol) in higher concentrations than it is in weed. You can make hash from weed by grinding the weed and then rolling the kief (the orangey/browny colored parts) into little balls. There are three primary classifications of cannabis. Cannabis Sativa, Cannabis Indica, and Cannabis Ruderalis. Of the three primary classifications Hashish is considered, scientifically, Cannabis Indica. Marijuana more widely applies to a wider variety of both Cannabis Sativa and Cannabis Indica, or hybrids thereof. Cannabis Ruderalis is the scientific name given to a variety of cannabis plants with extremely low THC production capability, but are more fibrous than other cannabis, making them ideal for industrial purposes.
