We are told that there will be many signs that will come before his coming but that is another question. So to answer your question, we will know when Jesus comes when we see him. It will be suddenly. It will at a time when we do not expect. It will be like a thief at night. But the bottom line is this WE WILL SEE HIM with our own eyes.

REV 1:7 "Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him..."

The bottom line is that no one knows when Jesus will actually return. There have been many times and many people who have tried to pin point the time of Jesus' return. We simple do not know. MAT 24:44 says, "For this reason you be ready too; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will." What is interesting is that even Jesus does not know when he is coming. Apparently some say God the Father will tell his Son, Jesus, "Ok

He is here Always and forever.

The answer depends on what you believe about the Second Coming. Those who hold that it is solely a spiritual event or that it is a synonym for death will believe that you see Jesus with "spiritual eyes" (or even "spirit eyes"!) Jehovah's Witnesses, who believe that Jesus returned invisibly in 1914, claim that He is seen by faith or that "see" is a synonym for "understand".

Traditional Christian teaching, based on a verse in Acts chapter 1, holds that Jesus will return bodily and visibly and that those alive at that time will need do nothing more than open their eyes and look, just as they would at any other event and just as the disciples did when Jesus left them and ascended to heaven.

When Jesus returns, He will not "appear" in some place on the earth. "Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him..." (Revelation 1:7). In other words, He is coming in the clouds, and everyone, everywhere, will see Him. We do not have a scientific explanation for this, except that He is God, He created science, so He can make it happen. He is not going to return to walk on earth again. He won't even touch the earth. Instead, He returns simply to reclaim His children, the righteous on the earth. Then He leaves with them. That's it. In fact, He warns us to be careful of anyone who claims to have seen Christ on earth.

Matthew 24:23-27 says:

23 - Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 - For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25 - Behold, I [Jesus] have told you before.

26 - Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is int he secret chambers; believe it not.

27 - For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

When Jesus returns those who are saved will be taken up to heaven. But the big question is where will you be them. In Revelations chapter 1 verse 7 says clearly. Look he is coming with the clouds, every eye will see him , even those who pierced him and on his sccount al the tribes will wail.So be it amen.

I'm guessing in the most sin infested place...Where else would the most people would be gathered after the so called "RAPTURE" happene?...

Answer:

Zechariah's prophecy will be fulfilled at the 2nd Coming:

Zechariah 14:4New King James Version (NKJV)

4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,

Which faces Jerusalem on the east.

And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,

From east to west,

Making a very large valley;

Half of the mountain shall move toward the north

And half of it toward the south.

Biblically, Jerusalem is the center of the world and all events as they relate to the Children of Israel - both physical and now spiritual via His Church.

Additionally:

The above scripture ties in with the account of Jesus' ascension into heaven.

"...while they [Jesus' disciples] beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven. Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the Mount called Olivet [the Mount of Olives], which is from Jerusalem a Sabbath day's journey." (Acts 1:9-12)

The prophecies regarding Jesus' return speak of Him "coming with clouds." Just as the clouds that "received Him out of their sight" were the last they saw of Him... in the "reverse manner"... clouds shall precede His return, just before the world will see Him, again [see Seal Six, Rev.6 & Matt.24:29].

"...they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with Power and Great Glory." (Matt.24:30)

And while Zechariah doesn't mention "clouds"... He does refer to "the Day of the Lord" as the "time" when Jesus comes, and prophecies of Day of the Lord describe it this way:

"...the Day of the Lord cometh... a day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness..." (Joel 2:1-2).

And as Zechariah mentions Jesus descending onto the Mount of Olives in that Day... that's the last place where His feet stood before ascending from the earth. Therefore, the Mount of Olives is the first place His feet shall touch upon His return... in the reverse order of His leaving.

What will you do when Jesus returns?

Hopefully, I will be taken to heaven. But the question really is ... what will happen to you when Jesus returns? Will you be taken with him to live with him forever in heaven? Or will you be among those who are cast aside? Christians should live in a way that honors Jesus and in a way that will make us unashamed when he returns, for "you do not know on what day your lord will come." And in light of all this, God commands us to reach out with compassion and witness to those who do not yet know Christ.

When Jesus return how can you recognize the real Jesus than others who proclaim themselves to be Jesus?

This is a very, very difficult question. Basically, the only answer that is possible to give is that when, or if, Jesus returns, you will definitely know.
