far cry 2 well i have a geforce 8800 ultra and i can run it with a p4 and 1gb for a while far cry 2 has a few memory leaks about the others i dont know never played them
yeah it does i have intel hd graphics it made lag a little bit. but it will work
i would say that they are about the same the 9100 MIGHT be a little better
ATI is good for performance gaming, and not too expensive Geforce products are real awesome quality, but a little on the $$$ side
nVidia GeForce GT 220 is a little better than than the 512 mb Radeon HD 4350. nVidia GeForce GT 220 is better if you are using it for gaming too. It works great with all the most popular games like The Sims 3, Spore, Left 4 Dead, Fallout 3, and World of Warcraft. Even if you aren't gaming the GT 220 is a little nicer, but unless you are using it for gaming, its not a big enough difference to be worth the money. If you are not gaming though, I would stick with the hd 4350.
Performance-wise, the GeForce 9800 GTX should in theory be a little bit better than the Radeon HD 4850 overall (about 10% faster). The GeForce 9800 GTX is much (more or less 47%) faster with regards to texture filtering than the Radeon HD 4850.The GeForce 9800 GTX will be just a bit (more or less 15%) better at full screen anti-aliasing than the Radeon HD 4850, and should be capable of handling higher resolutions more effectively.
Were you able to install the card into the slot on the motherboard? And did you connect the little power cable from the power supply to the card? If you did both of these things, then it should work. Download and install the latest drivers for the card from Nvidia's website and that should do it.
Depending on what you're using it for it could be fine or completely useless. Gaming? you could do better with a little money. CAD or anything like that? You'll crash every time.
I run a 9600 GT with Solidworks 2008, 2009, and 2010beta. It is a little slow with very complex assemblies, however, it still works very proficiently. It is also a little slow when utilizing photoworks; again, it still gets the job done.
A little more info would help. Who makes your card, ATI, PNY? You can get support at their sites. But first, are you sure you disabled your onboard graphics in the Device Manager before downloading the drivers for your new card? What OS? You may have to start in Safe Mode if you have Win2K.
Very unlikely. you might be able to squeeze it at 30 fps at low graphics with some tweaks. 128mb is not only too little but only integrated graphics cards have such low memory sizes. i highly recommend buying dedicated graphics. Integrated are part of the cpu and are not ideal for gaming. i recommend Nvidia GTX series, or Nvidia GeForce series if you are low on budget.
FCS2 works superbly on the MacBook Pro. Motion 3 might be a little juddery if you use too many effects, but other than that, it'll work smoothly. The minimum requirements are linked in the Related links section below.
As far as the system requirements to run the emulator, I'm afraid that the requirements stated by the developer may be a little low to allow any real satisfaction from its use. These would be the MINIMUM requirements and are as follows:GFX: Radeon 9500+ series card recommended, but Geforce FX series also work. Expect severe graphics problems with lower cards.CPU: The fastest you can find.RAM: 256MB or higher strongly recommended.Audio: Any Windows/DirectX-compatible soundcardBut as a mode of real comparison, I can offer my personal experience running games on dolphin from a couple different pcs:I have one PC that meets these requirements (geforce 9800gt 1024mb, Intel dual-core 2.7ghz, 2048 mb ram). this PC can run most any modern game (black ops, crysis, etc) on decent enough settings with no problems. However, for example, when trying to play the gamecube version of twilight princess on dolphin, I only get about 3fps with desirable settings. Dolphin does allow for a lot of tweaks in the settings and after playing around with different combinations, I have been able to achieve around 25fps, but at these settings, too many graphical glitches and artifacts appear making the game realistically unplayable.I have another PC that well exceeds these requirements (geforce 425gt 1024mb, Intel corei7 quad 1.8ghz, 4096mb ram). On this computer, games are playable on dolphin, but only just playable. On the best settings, I can push around 30fps on avg, but there are still some minor graphical glitches that are kindof annoying. From my experience, this is going to be your bottom line as far as what kind of system it would take to run a gamecube game on dolphin and get ANY semblance of the actual gamecube experience. In reality, you will need an unrealistically good system to be able to play dolphin. As such, i wouldn't expect it to find its way into most peoples library of emulators for at least a couple of years.
