I am not sure what you mean by achieving your nursing training by yourself, so I am not sure how to answer your question. If you mean that you do not want to physically attend a college or university to achieve your degree, then there is always the option to achieve your nursing training through an online training course. Here are a few links that may assist you in finding something that is right for you: http://www.nurse-training.com/ http://www.collegeanduniversity.net/colleges-programs-states/Online-Nursing-Schools.htm
I would talk to your local hospital or nursing training school.
I suppose online healthcare training would count towards a nursing degree depending on whether or not your school recognizes online training as valid education. Many schools now offer accreditation through online courses, however there are some pros and cons with online schooling.
Online nursing school would not give you the hands on training that a standard nursing school would provide. Standard schools have labs times in which the nurses receive beneficial hands on practice.
I would highly suggest the following: www.capella.edu, www.phoenix.edu/Nursing, www.kaplan.edu, and http://www.collegeanduniversity.net/colleges-programs-states/Online-Nursing-Schools.htm.
Your best bet would include a cerified nursing assistant program that is going to include some hands on training directly in a nursing home. It is also very beneficial if this class offers a placement service.
The LVN training and work would do more to move you towards a master's in nursing than the pharmacy tech training. The expience and training gained as an LVN would shorten the amount of time needed to get the next nursing degree.
You can get a good nursing degree through your local hospital. I would go to the human resources department of your hospital and ask which schools they are affiliated with for nursing.
There are several schools and nursing homes in the Palatine area for training. I would suggest Harper College, Palatine, IL they have a great program.
Certified nursing training take about 3 years to achieve. Being a nurse is a difficult job so make sure you have lots of patience like working with people.
Anyone with any degree can become an RN with the correct training. You must have the required prerequisites (such as Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, etc) required by the nursing school you are going to apply to. Then you must apply to the nursing school of your choice, complete their program, and pass the NCLEX licensing exam. A background in biology would be helpful, but you still would be required to go through a nursing program, which doesn't require a degree.
You would have to have the same education and training as an astronaut.
well i am a nurse my self and it requiers alot of training because if you dont then you wont know where to inject or put in or the tools you use. so my answer would be get as much training as you can.
