Living in a country with no laws would be called Anarchy. Anarchy occurs when the system of government has broken and there are no more laws or the laws aren't being enforced.

Usually living in Anarchy would be an awful situation for you because someone might come along and shoot you in the head or steal your handbag because there are no laws against it.

One advantage would be that if you want something, you can just steal it from the shops, the shopkeeper might bash you up though.

A disadvantage would be that you have more risk of being killed or losing precious things.

it is definitely better to live in socialism or in democracy!

When was voting created?

Voting was created in ancient Athens, Greece, but only certain upper class men were allowed to. They would write their vote on a piece of paper, put the paper in a box, and then afterwards would read the answers. They had a government that was "free", and we have a government that is "representative." In a free government, everyone votes for themselves. In a representative government, people vote on a certain person to "represent" them, and then that certain person would vote on certain laws. So like we vote for a president, and he makes the laws. In Athens, they would all vote on the laws themselves.
