Actually, young Walt Disney's neighbor, "Doc" Sherwood, would pay Disney to illustrate pictures of Rupert, "Doc" Sherwood's horse. In my opinion this inspired Disney to become an artist; however, there is most likely other inspirations for his artistic career. :)
