A gas mask is a mask worn over the face to protect the wearer from inhaling airborne pollutants and toxic materials. The mask forms a sealed cover over the nose and mouth, but may also cover the eyes and other vulnerable soft tissues of the face. Some gas masks are also respirators, though the word gas mask is often used to refer to military equipment (e.g. Field Protective Mask, etc.) (The user of the gas mask is not protected by gas that the skin can absorb.)
using glasses with a gas mask is risky. the part of the glasses that goes by your ear will likely break the seal of the mask you your face. most of todays modern masks have inserts that allow you to put in just the lenses of the glasses into the mask. many companies also provide prescription eyepieces for gas masks. check out AVON rubber for more info.
A gas mask showing disbonding would not be effective or serviceable.
This largely depends on whether you want something that looks like a gas mask or a real, working gas mask. Fancy dress shops and joke shops will often sell gas masks, but these are non functional. If you actually want a real gas mask, one would have to ask why!
